David Gerrish:

David GerrishDavid is an experienced and versatile guitar teacher with a wealth of experience including live performance, session and TV work. He can teach rock, blues, jazz and classical.
His knowledge of contemporary playing styles include rock, pop, blues, funk and jazz.

He holds a MMus in Music Performance from the London College of Music and a BMus Popular Music Performance (1st Class honours).

SWS teacher Conrad VingoeHaving obtained a BA (Hons) music degree, Conrad went on to further studies at the Musicians Institute London. Predominantly a singer/songwriter, his first instrument is guitar, and he has recorded several albums of original material. Conrad has also toured in Europe, the US and Scandinavia and won awards from the PRS foundation and Acoustic magazine for his songwriting. He has also played as a session guitarist on other people’s music and in function bands, so is well versed in many styles of music.
Conrad has taught privately since leaving University and has been teaching guitar, vocals, piano and ukulele full time in Brighton for 3 years before recently moving to London. Having worked with a large age range of students he is familiar with both ABRSM and Rock and Pop syllabuses.

SWS teacher Dainora DaugvilaiteDainora graduated from Goldsmith College. She teaches piano, classical singing, composition and theory. She has previously held the position of conductor and choirmaster and has also studied contemporary and Jazz composition.

She likes to develop a patient approach with young and adult students while being ambitious with their results.








Alime Duygu Hafiz:

SWS teacher Alime Duygu Hafiz Alime graduated from Violin/Piano performance at Baku Music Academy and completed her Master’s degree in Music Industry Management at the London Metropolitan University.

She has 5 years’ experience of teaching Piano/Violin and Music Theory and has been performing for 19 years, participating in classical orchestras whenever possible. Currently she is performing with the Fulham Orchestra in London. In addition, she has had solo and orchestra performances in Cyprus, Hungary, UK and Azerbaijan.

Alime has taught piano and violin to students of all ages in globally well-established private music schools in Cyprus and London. She is highly motivated to encourage her students to develop both their ability and enjoyment of learning to play to the highest standard possible.




David Roden:

SWS teacher David RodenDavid has a BA in Music from Dartington College of Arts.

He is a guitarist and composer with over 7 years teaching experience.

David can teach most guitar styles from classical to Pop Rock and Jazz, focusing on achieving correct technique, theory, and improvisation while keeping lessons fun and engaging.








Emily Moore:

SWS teacher Emily MooreEmily is a graduate of St. Andrews University and is now undertaking an MA at King’s College London.

She is an experienced and enthusiastic piano and violin tutor with a background in early age music education, having taught since she was fourteen-years-old. She has prepared many students for ABRSM exams with a 100% success rate. She also has extensive experience working within schools, early education and supporting young musicians in orchestras.





Cameron Dodds:

SWS teacher Cameron DoddsCameron is a composer and multi-instrumentalist currently studying for his PhD at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His music has been played by many internationally renowned ensembles and performers.

He is a friendly, experienced and enthusiastic teacher who likes to inspire his students to achieve their full potential. In 2016 he was awarded the Tracey Chadwell Memorial Prize for Composition.








Agata Michalska:


SWS teacher Agata MichalskaAgata is a great, enthusiastic and highly experienced piano teacher. Agata graduated from Music School in Warsaw where she won many competitions and has performed at many concerts. She specialises in classical and contemporary music and also teaches pop music. In 2017 she achieved a Bachelor of Music at Goldsmiths University of London and is currently undertaking a Masters degree in Music Composition.

Agata teaches all ages and wants her students to enjoy learning the piano; have a great understanding of music and achieve the best they possibly can.




Greta Dilyte:

SWS teacher Greta DilyteGreta graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from University of Aberdeen, Scotland. More than six years of teaching experience gives her extensive knowledge of different levels and age groups piano, singing and music theory developing. She has also enjoyed singing and conducting in various choirs (e.g. St Machar Cathedral Scholar 2014-2016) and touring Europe and World from a young age (Germany, UK, Canada, Hungary).

Greta enjoys accepting challenges and always treats every student individually to accommodate their needs and wishes regarding piano, singing or music theory. She is strong willed and determined to achieve learning together as well as to enjoy every minute!





Alex Villar:


SWS teacher Alex VillarAlex is a UWL (University Of West London) graduate with 5 years experience in the music industry. During this time he has taught hundreds of students all over London and taken part in many diverse projects ranging from Musical theatre, opera and original music in various styles.

Alex specialises in most popular styles including jazz and classical. He is also available to teach RGT, ABRSM and Rockschool syllabuses.







Kitty Man:


SWS teacher Kitty ManKitty loves being a piano teacher and has been teaching for over 15 years. She caters for all abilities from beginner until grade 8. Lessons can be tailored for the enthusiastic amateur who wants to play for pleasure, through to the tutoring of theory, practical and aural for examination.

After completing her qualifications in piano, violin and theory with ABRSM music board Kitty decided to share her passion with others. She has great inspiration and passion in her teaching and loves to share her musical experience with all her students.

Kitty received her Music BA Hons at City University London in 2007 and also studied Advanced Performance at The London Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

SWS teacher Giuseppe PucciarelliGiuseppe is an active composer, performer and teacher. He has recorded two jazz albums as a leader and is currently performing in London with some of the finest jazz musicians. He has a Bachelor in Music and is currently gaining a Master of Music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Giuseppe loves bringing the joy of the guitar to all of his students and focuses on making lessons enjoyable as well as instructive. He can teach any music style and has experience in teaching students of all ages and all levels.





Charlotte Brown:
Singing, Piano


SWS teacher Charlotte BrownCharlotte graduated from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance with a BA (Hons) in Songwriting. Shortly after completing her studies she proceeded to work on a cruise ship as a pianist and musical director where she performed every evening.

As well as being a singer/songwriter, Charlotte teaches singing and piano, contemporary and classical, to all ages. She believes in finding ways to keep learning an instrument fun and interesting whilst emphasising technique and music theory.





Wendy Talbot:

SWS teacher Wendy TalbotWendy has played the violin since the age of 9 and finished her musical studies at Goldsmiths College, obtaining a Bmus (Hons). She led the student orchestra in her final year.

Wendy has performed extensively in the London area and beyond. She has been a violin and piano teacher with various music services and teaching privately since 2003.

Recently, Wendy has become interested in historical performance practise and plays in two London based Baroque orchestras.

Wendy has a wide knowledge of teaching methods and also teaches viola and cello. She firmly believes the secret to success is consistency, dedication, hard work motivation and having a fun time learning!





Francesca Cannas:


SWS teacher Francesca CannasFrancesca holds a bachelor’s degree in violin with first-class honours and a Master of Arts from the Royal Academy of Music. She has over eight years' experience of teaching pupils of a wide range of ages and abilities and regularly prepares for exams pupils ranging from beginner to diploma level.

Francesca tailors her teaching on pupils' aspirations and abilities, adopting a flexible approach to teaching while striving at the same time to nurture the development of each pupil's potential by delivering high quality, creative lessons and providing parents with appropriate support and information to follow and encourage their children's musical progress.






Miriam Grant:

SWS teacher Miriam GrantMiriam graduated from The Royal Academy of Music with GRSM (Hons.), ALCM Piano, LRAM Violin in 1990 and has been teaching and performing ever since. She teaches all ages from 4 years upwards.

Miriam builds on pupils' confidence with a consistent and relaxed approach to lessons, leading to pupils' concerts and ABRSM Classical and ABRSM Jazz exams for piano.

Miriam is a professional member of ESTA and MU with a wealth of experience in state and independent sector primary and secondary schools.







Sarah Levings:


SWS teacher Sarah LevingsSarah has a BA Major in Music from Otago university and a postgraduate degree in Fine Arts. She has 20 years of classical/musical theatre vocal training and extensive performance experience.

Sarah has been teaching singing for the past 6 years and has taken students through grade exams; prepared students for competitions, school assessments and many auditions.

Sarah is pretty laid back and always aims to make her lessons fun and creative. She has a depth of technical knowledge. She focuses to make singing easy and fun, inspire students, build confidence and promote healthy effective singing for students to get the absolute best from their voice.




Kamila Cieśluk:

SWS teacher Kamila CieślukKamila is currently studying for a Masters Music Therapy degree.

Kamila graduated from a Music College in Bialystok, Poland where she studied classical singing and piano.

Having taught now for over 3 years, Kamila enjoys working with learners who are at the beginning of their journey with music and she has experience of working with students with special educational needs.





Ana-Elisabeta Popescu-Deutsch:

SWS teacher Ana-Elisabeta Popescu-DeutschAna-Elisabeta has an MA, bachelor's degree and LRAM teaching diploma from the Royal Academy of Music.

Ana-Elisabeta has travelled the world with several orchestras and chamber ensembles, gaining some priceless experiences. She advises that none of this would have happened without the guidance of the great teachers she met, who excited her with their insights, inspired her with their personalities and kept her on the right track with their patience.

Being able to share her experiences and create special student-pupil connections is a goal that Ana-Elisabeta has invested herself into for more than 6 years. She intends to do so for many years to come.

SWS teacher Alexei DupressoirAlexei has enjoyed a diverse musical career. He has been in demand across Australia, Europe and internationally as a performer and educator.

After obtaining a Bachelor (Hons I) and Master’s degree in his native Australia, Alexei has relocated to London where he has been freelancing with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and the Aurora Orchestra.

As a committed educator, Alexei’s ethos consists of being devoted to the enrichment and nourishment of each student, tailoring lessons for the individual whether that be for leisure or preparing for ABRSM and Trinity exams.






Deirdre Biasini:

SWS teacher Deirdre BiasiniDeirdre studied singing and piano at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin. She also studied at Trinity College, London.

Deirdre has taught for many years both privately and in music and primary schools. She is also a performer and regularly sings live so has experience in both performing and teaching.

Although trained in classical singing, Deirdre loves musical theatre and many other styles of music. Her teaching ethos is to instil confidence and passion in her students. She likes to be led by the type of music style the student is drawn to and her main aim is that her students really enjoy and look forward to their lessons.






Cris Tanzi:

SWS teacher Cris TanziCris graduated with honours from Middlesex University and has 10 years experience teaching piano, classical guitar, vocal coaching, music theory and composition both privately and in music schools.

Cris has taught individual and group lessons to children aged 4 to adult and from complete beginner to advanced level. Her lessons are tailored to the needs and pace of each student and include many genres and styles such as jazz, classical and pop.

Cris always tries to incorporate composition, ear-training and theory into her lessons, whether working towards graded exams or just playing for fun.






Jovana Petkovic:

SWS teacher Jovana PetkovicJovana is an enthusiastic and dedicated piano and singing teacher, with over 20 years of experience both in Australia and UK.

After graduating from Belgrade Music Academy with BMus (Hons), Jovana started teaching music in a secondary school and working as a freelance music producer, as well as performing as a classical concert singer.

With a wealth of experience and patient approach, Jovana firmly believes that with her help every student can reach their full potential whilst enjoying music in the process of learning.
